Hi, my name is Nikanoras but I go with Nik. I am a Financial Controller based in Copenhagen. Day-to-day I run month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and stakeholder reporting across multiple countries - working inside SAP S/4HANA and building Power BI dashboards for senior management.
The part I actually get excited about is the infrastructure around the numbers. Designing data flows, writing procedures from scratch, and making sure the right information reaches the right decision-maker in a clean, usable format.
Most afternoons after work I'm at my desk building things with AI - not because it's my job, but because I want to understand how this technology works before it becomes a requirement. I started from zero - couldn't write a line of Python, didn't know what an API was in practice. Everything on this site is a project from that journey. I'm a finance professional who decided to learn by building, and that distinction matters.
Each project starts from a friction I hit in my day job or personal life and tries to remove it with the smallest possible amount of code.
